Ivan Craig Olive

Craig Olive is a native of Johnston County, where he was raised on a family farm as the youngest of 15 siblings. He has served as the Register of Deeds for Johnston County since being elected in 2002. Prior to this role, he was an Examiner with the North Carolina Driver License agency for 13 years. Olive is also actively involved in his community as the pastor for Little Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Clayton and Clement Primitive Baptist Church. He has served on various boards, including the Johnston Community College Board of Trustees and the Johnston County Tourism Board. His public service has been recognized with awards such as the Ronald Wilson Reagan Legacy Award from the Johnston County Republican Party and induction into the NCGOP Hall of Fame.
