J.D. Urbach is a Republican candidate for Baltimore County Council in Maryland's 9th District. A lifelong resident of the county, he graduated from Dundalk High School, earned a B.A. from Drew University, and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. Professionally, Urbach has over 25 years of experience leading projects for organizations such as CareFirst and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. His extensive community involvement includes serving as Board Chair for the Community College of Baltimore County and four decades with the Boy Scouts. Named the 2024 "Dundalk Citizen of the Year," Urbach resides in Edgemere with his wife and two children.
