Jack Bergman is a retired United States Marine Corps lieutenant general and American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Michigan's 1st congressional district since 2017 [1.10]. A member of the Republican Party, he earned a BA from Gustavus Adolphus College and an MBA from the University of West Florida. During his military career, Bergman served as commanding general of the Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North. He has also worked as a commercial airline pilot.
