Jack Felton

Jack Felton is a Republican candidate seeking an At-Large seat on the Frederick County Council. This campaign represents his first time running for a position on the County Council. Felton's professional background includes a career with the United States Postal Service, where he served as postmaster for both the Mount Airy and Walkersville post offices, providing him with extensive experience in public service and local administration. Although he initially filed his candidacy for the District 2 seat, he later transitioned his campaign to run for an at-large position. Felton also has direct experience in county governance, having served on the Frederick County Board of Appeals. He was subsequently reappointed to a second three-year term on the board, which is set to begin in mid-2025.
