James Abe Hudson

James 'Abe' Hudson is a District Court Judge in North Carolina. Before becoming a judge, he served as a magistrate in Henderson County for nearly seven years, where he presided over small claims court and the initial phases of criminal proceedings. His prior legal experience includes working as an attorney in Wake and Mecklenburg counties. Hudson is also a veteran, having served an enlistment in the U.S. Marine Corps before becoming an attorney. He won the election for a newly created district court judge seat in May 2022.
