James Franklin "Frank" Braxton

Frank Braxton has a long history of service to the Town of Topsail Beach. He was first elected as a Town Commissioner in August 2018. He was appointed Mayor in March 2025, following the death of the previously appointed mayor, Morton Blanchard. Prior to his time in elected office, Braxton worked as a landscape architect for over 30 years, having received a BS Degree from North Carolina State University in 1973. He has professional experience with both municipal departments and private land development firms.
