James Reid is a candidate for Town of Andrews Mayor in Andrews, North Carolina — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-Partisan.

James Reid is a lifelong resident of Andrews, North Carolina, born to Clyde and Wanda Reid. He graduated from Andrews High School in 1987. Reid has been involved in local politics for over 19 years, previously serving as Mayor Pro Tempore from 2001 to 2009 and as an Alderman from 2009 to 2013. He was elected Mayor in November 2017. In addition to his mayoral duties, he owns and operates Reid's Tree and Lawn Service, a business he started in 1993, and also works as a high school custodian and manages rental properties. He has three children and three grandchildren.
