Jason C. Buckel is a Republican politician representing District 1B in Allegany County as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates. His service in the House began on January 14, 2015. A native of Allegany County, where he was born on November 3, 1971, Buckel has taken on significant leadership roles during his tenure. In 2021, his colleagues selected him for the position of Minority Leader. He also serves on the Ways and Means Committee, a key legislative body. His academic background includes a degree from George Mason University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law.
