Jason Gibbs is a Santa Clarita City Councilmember, first elected in 2020, and served as Mayor in 2023. He is a lifelong Californian who earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Before his political career, he worked in the aerospace industry on rocket programs such as the Delta II, Delta IV, and Atlas V. He and his wife, Chandra, have two children and have lived in Santa Clarita for nearly a decade.
