Jason Morgan is an incumbent Democrat serving in the Michigan House of Representatives for the 23rd District. A first-generation college graduate, he holds a BA in political science from Northern Michigan University and an MPA from the University of Michigan. Previously, Morgan served as a Washtenaw County Commissioner and was its first openly LGBTQ chair. He has also worked as a congressional aide for several U.S. Representatives and as an instructor at Washtenaw Community College.
