Javier Mabrey is an incumbent Democratic Representative for Colorado's House District 1, representing Denver and Jefferson counties. An attorney by profession and an alumnus of the University of Colorado-Boulder, he chairs both the Committee on Legal Services and the Judiciary Committee. He also serves on the Business Affairs & Labor and Ethics committees. His legislative work includes sponsoring bills for the 2026 Regular Session concerning firefighter cancer benefits, property access for repairs, and state remedies for constitutional rights violations.
