Hasan "Jay" Jalisi is an American politician and medical doctor who represented Maryland's 10th legislative district in the House of Delegates. A member of the Democratic Party, he served two terms from January 14, 2015, to January 11, 2023. During his tenure, Jalisi was appointed to the Judiciary Committee and later served on the Environment and Transportation Committee. Born in Hyderabad, Pakistan, he earned a medical degree from the University of Karachi and subsequently obtained a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Beyond his work in medicine and public service, he has also been active as a real estate investor. In 2022, Jalisi ran an unsuccessful campaign for the Maryland State Senate.
