Jean Monestime is a former Chairman of the Miami-Dade County Commission, businessman, licensed real estate broker, and community leader. Elected to the Miami-Dade County Commission in 2010, he became the first Haitian American to serve as Commission Chairman in 2015. He has spent decades advocating for economic development, educational opportunity, and community empowerment throughout Miami-Dade County.
