Kendrick Meek Jr. is a 29-year-old Miami attorney, advocate, and public policy professional. The grandson of the late Congresswoman Carrie Meek and son of former Congressman Kendrick Meek and Judge Leslie Meek, he practices land use, zoning, and real estate development law in South Florida. He previously served in Washington, D.C., at the Office of Management and Budget and on the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, and has worked with the Human Rights Campaign, the ACLU, and the board of SAVE. He earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and a bachelor's degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida.
