Jeanette Colby is a lifelong resident of Minneapolis. She holds a bachelor's degree in government from Georgetown University, a master's equivalent from the University of Brussels, and has pursued graduate studies in Program Evaluation at the University of Minnesota. Her experience includes roles in community leadership, arts administration with the Edina Parks and Rec Department, and policy advocacy. She has served with the Kenwood Neighborhood Organization, the SWLRT Community Advisory Committee, and the Cedar Lake Park Association. Colby is also a ceramicist and has been a guide at the Minneapolis Institute of Art for 17 years.
