Jeff Hurd is a Colorado native, attorney, husband, and father of five from Grand Junction. A Republican, he was elected to the U.S. House in 2024 and assumed office January 3, 2025, representing Colorado's 3rd Congressional District. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame (B.A.), earned a J.D. from the University of Denver and an LL.M. from Columbia University, served as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and chaired the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce board.
