Jeff Mclaughlin

Jeffrey McLaughlin, the Democratic nominee for Alabama Attorney General in 2026, is an attorney with a background in public service. He previously represented District 27 in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2001 to 2011, where he personally funded his campaigns and championed legislation to ban PAC-to-PAC transfers for greater financial transparency. A Harvard University law graduate, McLaughlin also sought the mayoral office in Guntersville, Alabama, in 2025.
