Jennifer Guzman Hosey is a Bolivian-American politician running for the Democratic Central Committee in Maryland's Legislative District 17. First appointed to the committee in 2015, she co-led reforms to ensure committee members are elected on the primary ballot. Hosey earned a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, attending with an endorsement from Congressman Jamie Raskin. She also served as a pledged delegate for Barack Obama at the 2012 Democratic National Convention and interned in Senator Ted Kennedy's Foreign Policy and Defense Office.
