Jennifer Teague is the current Mayor of Harrisburg, sworn into office on December 13, 2021. Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, she graduated from Myers Park High School and earned a degree in Business Management with a Minor in Human Resources from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Before her role as Mayor, she worked in Human Resources Management for 20 years and has been an active volunteer in local school PTAs for 12 years. She and her husband have lived in Harrisburg since 1999 and have three children.
