Jeremy Scott Alexander ran as a Democratic candidate for the Wicomico County Council in Councilmanic District 5. With a long career in public service, Alexander is an executive assistant at the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University. His extensive experience includes serving in the Clinton administration within the White House and the U.S. Department of Energy. He was also the director of government affairs for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund and a scheduler for Representative Yvette D. Clarke. Locally, he serves on the Salisbury Human Rights Advisory Committee and the county Democratic Central Committee.
