Jerry Alvord

Jerry Alvord is an Oklahoma State Senator for District 14, who assumed office in November 2022 and won re-election for 2026. A Republican, he previously owned a business, worked as a financial counselor, and served as an Elder for Crosspoint Fellowship Church. His extensive civic involvement includes roles with the Association of County Commissioners and various community and agricultural organizations. A strong proponent of Second Amendment rights, he has been an NRA certified handgun instructor. In the Senate, Alvord advocates for conservative principles: believing life begins at conception, fully supporting law enforcement, and promoting limited government, free markets, and reduced regulations to enhance Oklahoma's economy. He also prioritizes upgrading the state's infrastructure.
