Jessie Danielson is a Democratic Colorado State Senator representing District 22. She previously served two terms in the Colorado House of Representatives before being elected to the Senate. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado. As a state senator, she serves as Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources and Chair of the Senate Committee on Business, Labor and Technology. Danielson announced her candidacy for Colorado Secretary of State in the 2026 election, seeking to succeed the term-limited incumbent. She is based in Wheat Ridge.
