Jessie Lopez is a member of the Santa Ana City Council, representing Ward 3 since 2020. A daughter of immigrants from El Salvador, she grew up in Santa Ana and became the first in her family to graduate from college. On the city council, Lopez has focused on expanding affordable housing, addressing homelessness, and improving public safety. She is currently running for the California State Assembly to represent District 68 in the 2026 election.
