Jimmie Wilson Jr. is a Democratic politician serving as the State Representative for Michigan's 32nd District since 2023. A lifelong resident of the Ypsilanti area, he previously served as an elected Ypsilanti Township Trustee from 2016 to 2022. Wilson worked as a licensed aircraft mechanic, built wind turbines at Siemens Energy, and served as a journeyman electrician at Ford Motor Company, where he became an active UAW Local 898 Trustee. He currently resides in Ypsilanti with his family.
