Jimmy Panetta is the U.S. Representative for California's 19th congressional district, having first entered Congress in 2017. He currently serves on the House Committees on Ways and Means and the Budget. A member of the Democratic Party, Panetta previously worked as a deputy district attorney in Alameda and Monterey Counties. He is also a former Intelligence Officer in the United States Navy Reserve, deploying to Afghanistan where he was awarded the Bronze Star.
