Joe Venosa

Joe Venosa is an unaffiliated candidate for Wicomico County Council, District 7. A resident of the county since 2013, he is an associate professor of history at Salisbury University, holding a Ph.D. in the subject from Ohio University. Previously, he worked as a high school social studies teacher. Known for his regular attendance and sharp critiques at County Council meetings, Venosa is a vocal advocate for governmental ethics reform and transparency. His campaign platform focuses on ending unfair tax burdens, supporting public schools, and protecting the environment. He and his wife, Sabrina, have one son.
