Joe Vigliotti

Joe Vigliotti is a Republican representing District 1 on the Carroll County Board of Commissioners in Maryland. Prior to his 2022 election as County Commissioner, he was a third-term member of the Taneytown City Council, holding the positions of Mayor Pro Tem and Police Department Liaison. He graduated from Mount Saint Mary's University in 2008 with a degree in history and double minors in political science and philosophy. Outside of public service, Vigliotti is an award-winning artist, photographer, and novelist who has authored eighteen books. He currently resides in Taneytown, Maryland with his two chihuahuas, Frankie and Maddie.
