John Arthur is a National Board Certified Teacher and the 2021 Utah Teacher of the Year, dedicated to empowering students and strengthening public education. Currently serving House District 41 in the Utah Legislature, he was elected in 2024 after a career advocating for public workers and families. His legislative priorities include supporting students and educators, improving public education, addressing the Great Salt Lake crisis, making life more affordable, promoting environmental stewardship, and tackling rising housing costs and limited childcare. He lives with his wife, Stacey, and their daughters, Ione and Valentine. He has authored "The Digital Projects Playbook."
