He voluntarily separated from the military in 2023 after refusing the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Since then, Frankman has advocated for military accountability and service members affected by the mandate. He is currently running as a Republican candidate to represent Florida's 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
