John E. Lanza is a practicing attorney since 2001 with his family's law firm, Lanza and Lanza LLP. He earned a political science degree from Boston College in 1998 and graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2001. Lanza was first elected to the Board of County Commissioners in 2013 and is serving his third term. He is a lifetime resident of Hunterdon County and lives in Raritan Township with his wife and children.
