John Marshall Blust

John M. Blust is an attorney and the incumbent Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for District 62. He previously served nine terms in the State House from 2001 to 2018 and one term in the State Senate from 1996 to 1998. Blust is a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1972 to 1974 and again from 1982 to 1985. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His legal practice in Greensboro focuses on areas such as taxation, estate planning, and business law.
