Shelly Headen

Shelly Headen resides in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. She graduated from Appalachian State University and began her career as an auditor at an international CPA firm, where she gained experience in manufacturing, telecom, nonprofits, and Medicaid. After raising her three daughters in Guilford County, she returned to work as a recruiter for local companies in the accounting and finance sectors. Headen is actively involved in her community, serving as Co-Treasurer for the Oak Ridge Elementary School PTSO, a member of the local Lion's Club, The League of Women Voters, Guilford for All, and the Greensboro Builders Association. She has also coached youth cheerleading. In 2023, she was the Secretary/Treasurer for her local Democratic precinct in Oak Ridge.
