John Shelton is a retired law enforcement officer with 28 years of experience, having retired as a Major with the Vance County Sheriff's Office. He is currently a project manager for Pay Tel Communications. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a BA in Communications and earned a Masters of Science in Leadership and Organizational Change from Pfeiffer University. He moved to Plymouth in April 2025.
