John T. Cannon is a Republican member of the Wicomico County Republican Central Committee and currently serves as the President of the Wicomico County Council, a position to which he was most recently re-elected in November 2022. A native of Salisbury, he is a graduate of Salisbury University and the owner of a commercial and residential property management company. Cannon has a long history of public service in Wicomico County, having first served on the County Council starting in 2006 and previously being a member of the Republican Central Committee from 1994 to 1998. His career also includes over 20 years in the television broadcast industry.
