Jonathan D. White

Jonathan D. White is a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Maryland's 4th Congressional District. He is a retired Captain from the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, where he served on disaster and crisis response missions under four presidents. While in government during the Trump administration, White opposed the family separation policy and later led the mission to reunify separated families. A licensed clinical social worker, his professional background also includes work as an oncology social worker, a college English professor, and a labor union organizer. His platform includes advocating for a national living wage and protecting career civil servants and immigrants.
