Jonathan Gleason

Jonathan Gleason is a Republican from Ludlow, Vermont, who ran for the Vermont State Senate (Windsor District) in the 2026 primary. After graduating from college with an engineering degree (Colorado School of Mines), he worked for a multinational oil-services company; mid-career he earned an MBA (Babson College) and bought a small business, which he ran for 15 years before selling it to a long-time employee. He later taught children to ski as a ski instructor at Vail Resorts and worked summers at the same resort in outdoor activities, food-and-beverage, and housekeeping roles. He campaigned on fiscal conservatism, affordability and property-tax relief, and structural education reform.
