Joseph C. Ruddy, III is a candidate for Judge of the Circuit Court in Maryland's Judicial Circuit 7. Running in the state's nonpartisan judicial elections, he currently serves as an Associate Judge for the Prince George's County Circuit Court, having been sworn into the position in March 2026. Prior to his investiture to the bench, Ruddy dedicated his legal career to public service by working as a county prosecutor in Maryland. He earned his law degree from the Columbus School of Law. Raised in Cheverly, Maryland, Ruddy is a widowed father of four children. He is now seeking a full term to continue providing compassionate service to his community.
