Joseph Coale

Joseph Coale serves as the State's Attorney for Talbot County, Maryland. A member of the Republican Party, he ran for election to this office in 2022. As the chief law enforcement officer for the county, his office is responsible for prosecuting all criminal cases, which range from traffic offenses to more serious crimes. The Office of the State's Attorney for Talbot County is comprised of five attorneys who handle cases in both the District and Circuit Courts. Coale has been actively engaged in his role, including appearing before the Talbot County Council to advocate for matters concerning the State's Attorney's office.
