Joseph L. Holt

Joseph L. Holt is a Republican candidate running for Judge of the Orphans' Court in Kent County, Maryland. A longtime resident of Chestertown, Holt brings decades of dedicated community involvement and leadership experience to his campaign. He previously enjoyed a distinguished career in higher education administration, serving as the Chief of Staff at Washington College. His exceptional contributions to the institution led to the creation of the Joseph L. Holt Award for Distinguished Service, which annually honors outstanding faculty and staff. In addition to his professional work, Holt has actively supported the Chester River Health Foundation and local Republican political efforts.
