Joseph M. Mitrecic

Joseph M. Mitrecic is a Republican serving as the Worcester County Commissioner for District 7 in Maryland. Representing the Ocean City area, Mitrecic was first elected to the Board of County Commissioners in 2014 and later served as its president from 2019 to 2022. Prior to his county service, he served on the Ocean City Council from 2006 to 2010 and 2012 to 2014, including a stint as council president. Mitrecic is also the owner and president of Mitrecic Builders, a local construction company. A longtime resident of Ocean City, Mitrecic is an active community member, a dedicated widower, and the proud father of two children.
