Joshua Fischer, a Democratic candidate for the Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee At-Large, has been a resident of Montgomery County for over two decades. He is a longtime Montgomery County Government employee, where he has worked in Child Welfare Services, and is an active member of the Montgomery County Government Employees Organization (MCGEO). Fischer has a history of community activism, having served on the Gaithersburg Commission for Landlord and Tenant Affairs, the Police Advisory Committee, and the Community Advisory Committee. He is a vocal advocate for renters' rights, disability rights, and LGBTQ+ rights, and previously ran for Gaithersburg City Council in 2015.
