Jyoti Mohan

Jyoti Mohan is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in Legislative District 42A. An educator with a PhD in History from the University of Maryland, she has been a resident of Baltimore County for over two decades. Mohan's public service includes appointments to the Maryland Governor's Commission on Military Monuments and the Governor's Commission on African American History and Culture. As a community leader, she founded and serves as board president of the Minority Coalition Community Center of Baltimore County. Her local involvement also extends to serving on the Baltimore County Democratic Central Committee and as a PTA leader at local public schools, where her three children attended.
