Her extensive career in public service includes various roles at the Office of the Los Angeles County Counsel from 2010 to 2019, the Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender's Office from 2006 to 2010, and the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office from 2003 to 2006. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School.
