Karim R. Amin is an educator and arts activist from West Baltimore running for the Democratic Central Committee in Legislative District 41. He is the executive director of Voices of 21217, a youth-focused nonprofit dedicated to arts programming. Amin was a charter member of the coalition that established Maryland's first Black Arts district on Pennsylvania Avenue. He has pursued a Master's in Public Administration at the University of Baltimore to further his commitment to community development and public service. His work centers on empowering youth and leveraging the arts for community revitalization and engagement within his district.
