Karlie Easley

Karlie Easley is a Democratic candidate for the Idaho State Senate, representing District 22 in the 2026 election. A fourth-generation Idahoan and a mother, her professional background includes nursing in both emergency and hospice settings, caring for Treasure Valley families. She also has experience in small business and turning around struggling companies. Easley is running to counter what she describes as rising extremism in government, aiming to restore focus to improving Idahoans' lives. Her key policy goals include fully funding public education, improving healthcare access and affordability, protecting public lands, restoring human rights, and balancing the budget by reversing tax breaks for the wealthy and ending culture wars. She is openly running as part of a married same-sex couple, with her wife also seeking office in District 22.
