Kathryn Larson is an independent candidate challenging incumbent Republican Cornel Rasor for Idaho House of Representatives, District 1B, in the November 3, 2026 general election. She previously ran for the same seat as a Democrat in 2024. A strategy and management consultant with international experience and postgraduate work in education, Larson focuses her campaign on local decision-making, working infrastructure, and economic affordability for District 1 residents. She volunteers with regional nonprofits, leads a business peer group, and is an artist and vegetable grower. Larson is endorsed by the Idaho Education Association and Veterans for Idaho Values. She was born in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Southern Methodist University.
