Keith Runk is a Republican candidate running for Sheriff of Harford County, Maryland. He brings over three decades of law enforcement experience, having served thirty-four years with the Maryland State Police before retiring as a Lieutenant. His extensive career also includes service with the Ocean City Police Department and the United States Secret Service. He commanded the Maryland State Police SWAT team and is the longest-serving SWAT member in the agency's history, earning the Governor's Medal of Valor twice. A former Division I lacrosse player at Towson State University, he is an inducted member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
