Kelly D. McConkey is a Republican candidate for the Calvert County Board of County Commissioners in Maryland, seeking to represent District 3. He previously served as the District 3 County Commissioner from December 2018 to December 2022, holding leadership roles as the board's vice president from 2018 to 2019 and president from 2019 to 2020. Before joining the Board of County Commissioners, McConkey served as the District 3 representative on the Calvert County Board of Education from 2012 to 2018. Outside of his career in local politics, he is a small business owner who has operated Kelly's Tree and Lawn Service in Dunkirk since 1988. He is married and has four children.
