Ken Kerr

Ken Kerr is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Legislative District 3 since assuming office in 2023. He previously represented District 3B from 2019 to 2023. Prior to his service in the state legislature, Kerr was a member of the Frederick County Board of Education from 2016 to 2018. An educator by profession, he worked as a professor of English at Frederick Community College, where he also chaired the English department. Kerr earned an Associate of Arts from Frederick Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in music from Hood College, a Master of Science in professional writing from Towson University, and a Doctor of Education in higher education leadership from Morgan State University.
