Kent Roberson is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing Legislative District 25, appointed on May 30, 2023. Raised in Prince George's County, he earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in political science from Ball State University and a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary. His career includes over 20 years in government relations, with a focus on agriculture, transportation, and trade, holding positions with the Corn Refiners Association and CSX Transportation. Prior to his appointment, Roberson was elected to the Prince George's County Democratic Central Committee in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, serving as chair. He also served as a Maryland presidential elector in 2020. In the legislature, he has served on the Judiciary and Ways and Means Committees and is a member of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland and the Maryland Legislative Latino Caucus.
